You’re invited to our birthday! CultureHouse is celebrating 8 years of creating public spaces around the Greater Boston area, including the one and only Cambridge KiOSK. Join us in reflecting on our history and dreaming for the future over hot chocolate, snacks, and festivities to wrap up the year.
CultureHouse is a nonprofit design studio that improves livability in local communities by transforming underutilized spaces into vibrant social infrastructure. We have done over 40 place-making projects to date, including activating 9 different vacant storefronts and unused outdoor areas into pop-up community spaces. Since first running a pop-up in the former Out of Town newsstand in 2019, we re-opened it as our first-ever long-term community space this past year.
